I recognised them long time ago, but now I wonder WHY the hell they
are in the EB world? Oo
is there a historical evidence for the existence of a wall of death seperating the eastern
and southern parts of the world from the swêbôz?

I had send out an army to destroy diazenis and to take eburonum and after destroying
the army i startet to siege eburonum. okay... another one of these armies attacked me
in order to save the settlement...
i have to retreat, because of the strenght of the attacking force [which was of the
same strength like diazenis' army] plus the army in the town...
okay the second army tracked me and attacked me again in the same round.
i won, but have to get back to my town to retrain the enormous losses.
when i decided to get back and to take the enemy settlement i have seen,
that diazenis has been somekind of respawned! Oo
[i don't know about the other superior-army but i think they've done the same]

so... what higher plan is shown here?
to hold the germans back in their forests and to force them
to go the other way trough france?

and... do they allways respawn when I failed to take the city they are defending?

Yes, they are to prevent Sveboz Avalanche moving south and to prevent Rome to expand in Germania too quick ( it would be too ahistorical:clown:). Yes, they respawn...I share Ur pain..I've fought with them many times, it hurts... but never trying to siege this city, so I have similar questions to yours: is possible to end respawning of this army? Maybe through conquering this damned city?

you can disable this in the script use a search on rhesus there was a thread about him some time ago
in short they represent powerfull tribes like the boi who couldn't be in eb because of the hard coded faction limit

the armies are there because in earlier versions for some reasons the romans ended up in the baltic
and the sweboz by lack of real ai enemies where rampaging the north taking over gaul and going into italy

okay well,... i agree to the fact of the tribes who can't be put into...
but why the hell are they respawn? Oo
i will send out some mighty fullstacks to take this damn fortress^^

i am not angry because they are there... the fact that is annoying me is
that they always come back xD
like a nightmare^^

They should take a couple turns to respawn in the newest version of EB.

Since they are their for AI and gameplay reasons, you could roleplay them. Do something like, once defeated once you auto_win any battle with the army if it respawns.
