Moving the BackroomWT to the Backroom.

I propose moving this subforum in the Backroom section of the Tavern.

Why?
a) It would serve as a forum for settling Backroom complaints (closed threads, yadda, yadda)
b) It would be Backroom-oriented
c) The Backroom is a closed forum so it needs its own Watchtower

It might actually gain some new posts.

Do Orgahs agree?

IIRC as it is, it can only be viewed by those with access to the backroom anyway, so :shrug: Null vote, IMO no reason to move it from its partner.

No. It's usually used for the "why was I kicked out of the backroom" type threads. So moving it to the backroom would make it unavailable to those "appealing" against their backroom access being revoked. So this thread is irrelevant really. :bow:

Asai is right on the money. If we moved this to the backroom there would be no way for people to appeal their backroom suspension, as they could not see the forum. They would then just post to the Watchtower, effectively making the BackroomWT useless.

I like to think of the Watchtower in this light: If there are no new posts then the .Org is doing just fine. :yes:

On a separate note, it seems better to me to have all the watchtower forums in one spot. Putting this in the backroom, in addition to making it harder for people to ask "why was I banned?" might cause some of the backroom behavior and attitudes to slip into an administrative forum (more so than we already have).
