Who has one? This coming weekend I'm pretty sure I'm gonna ink up my arm with this.

I am seriously thinking about one too, but it'll be a few years away. When I find out what my "animal" is (Kung Fu) then will probably go with something along those lines on my shoulderblade.

Ex-gf's one, got it last weekend.
Wonder what it looks like IRL.
If you are wondering, thats her lower right back.
edit
Quite a few of my friend's have them, 2 of my friends have had 3 tattoo's now... they look good i think, the only thing stopping me getting one is that im the kind of person that buy's clothes and suddenly realises i don't like them when i get back home... that and i can't find anything thats a combanation of cool enough and speaks to me personally in some way... rather than just something that looks nice...
Go somewhere were the artist has a good reputation and knows what he/she is doing. Nothing worse than a something drawn all wrong on you.
Personally I'd never get a tat, since it's very rare that they actually look good on white people.
I wanted a tattoo and an earring when I was a teenager, but my motherdidn't want itwould have burned me at the stake if I would have dared coming home like that.
Now that I'm 30, have a job, a decent haircut and a mortgage, I pretty much have the same opinion on the matter as Fragony :laugh4:
Trying to cover up those stretch marks?~;) Make sure you really like it because your going to be stuck with it. Put it in a place that is easily covered by clothing so that when you don't want it displayed, like during that important job interview, it's outta sight of grumpy but well paying employers who equate tattoos with bikers & circus freaks.
I don't see the point, my father always said that the tatoos he saw on sailers always got faded and wrinkly, especially the face ones. I know a few girls who have tatoos, sometimes they lookj good but I don't think I'd want one on my wife.
I have nothing against tattoos personally more the poor choice of tattoos many of the people I know insist on getting.
These range from the incredibly generic tribal tattoos for most but one guy I know who I wouldn't quite class as a friend decided to get a huge Celtic cross on his back. Not only is this stupid because he isn't religious in anyway what so ever but it also makes him look like a white supremacist.
One of my friends girl friend also insists on getting really stupid and pathetic tattoos in really ridiculous places. One of them is on her neck and the other on her lower hip and after seeing them I really had to restrain myself from asking her what she was thinking when she decided to ink them. My friend himself says that he tries to avoid contact with them at all times when their you know, due to the fact it actually makes him feel sick when looking at them.
I mean come on, who gets a tattoo of a hear the size of a pea on their hip? It just looks like some sort of red boil.
You can count on my gun, Fragony!

The counter-point to getting a tattoo:
1. Tattoos are permanent
2. well, you shall just have to watch the video to see how funny it is.
The counter-counter-point to getting a tattoo:
Tattoos are cool.
You still want to be a Lawyer?
Is this so you can identify with your clients?
The tattoo is not going to make you anything that you aren’t already…Billy Joe or Wee Willy!
But hay, you pay for it, its yours…and if you get tiered of it…well that costs a whole lot more and leaves ugly scars…
My 2 sons pleaded for tat's from about 13 years old. I refused, insisting they wait 'til age 18, although we did discuss what might look good, what the image might mean, the history & significance of tattoo's, et cetera. I just didn't want them making a frivolous decision with such permanent consequences
Son #1, at age 18 + 1 day, spent $300 of his own money to have a design of his own making tattoo'd on his back.

His original plan was to color-in that design, but after a couple hours of pain "in the chair" decided the outline was enough. :laugh4:
Son #2 decided to wait.
No markings on me. I'm not anti-tattoo - just never found anything I wanted permanently on me.
Wife has one similar to this on her back, on the right side:

S'pretty, but I don't really care for tattos in general. If you have something unique with some special meaning to you I get that you might want to keep it close, but you could always just keep it in your mind rather than on your body.
That said, it's your body, if you're not making a public nuiscance of yourself do whatever the heck you want with it.
:egypt:
You are too young for something so permanent...
...I suggest you wait for a couple of years or you might end up with removal scars next to those stretch marks.
Also you general narcissistic attitude about your muscles, girls, coolness and general appearance, combined with the tattoo idea, reminds me of an old classic: (The Offrsping - Pretty Fly (For a White Guy) :2thumbsup:
ow he's getting a tattoo yeah, he's getting ink done
He asks for a 13, but they drew a 31
Friends say he's trying too hard and he's not quite hip
But in his own mind he's the, he's the dopest trick
Give it to me baby, uh huh, uh huh
Give it to me baby, uh huh, uh huh
Give it to me baby, uh huh, uh huh
...But what the hell, life is all about remembering mistakes past and having a laugh about them
I also despise the things. I wouldn't go so far as to kick a woman with a tattoo out of bed but any time I spot one the probability of a long term relationship plummets to zero. Nothing screams sheeple louder than a tramp stamp...
I liked it better when the only people who got tattoos were sailors, marines, biker gang members, freaks and primitives.
Get one of Me and Mr.Peanut :clown:.
Don't think I'd ever get a tatoo, but it's pretty shallow to hate on people who do.
Haterzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Full of myself? Oh yea? Well Im taking my ball and going HOME!
i have one.
but never put one where it is not easily covered up.
