When was the last time you saw this
In my current campaign as the Romani, i was looking at the world without the fow on and i saw this.

This is quite exciting for me because the Ptolies always win in the middle east and i end up fighting them... I think out of the last 10 campaigns this is the first in which the "Grey death" may live up to its name. Just thought id share.
Re: When was the last time you saw this
Seen this quite a lot of times the Seleuks always dominate the Ptollis in my games.:furious3:
In my latest game the seleuks took ALexandria too but the Ptollis still hold sirya, palaestina and kilikien...
Re: When was the last time you saw this
The Grey Death has already lived up to its name. In my campaigns before version 1.2 they were crushing everybody. For some reason the Ptolemaioi didn't give me a lot of trouble at first, what got to Antiocheia was just rabble.
Re: When was the last time you saw this
Well, in 1.0, there was always a grey death, then when I installed 1.1, there was a yellow death. Since I'm still on 1.1, having a grey death is nice. Idk, I think its strange how the AI behaves.
Re: When was the last time you saw this
The Seleukids in my game as Epirus took over most of the east as well. Egypt and Parthia were getting trounced and both were my allies, so i landed a huge force in minor asia, killed some full stacks and now most provinces there are ripe for conquest (only got 1 regiment as garrisons).
Too bad Egypt isnt the same bad ass in regards to missile troops as it was in normal RTW.
Re: When was the last time you saw this
Whoever wins the battle over Antiocheia early in the game ends up becoming the "X-death" of the campaign. The Ptolemaioi just usually win that battle.
Re: When was the last time you saw this
Really? One city makes that much of a difference? Is it just a matter of the AS giving up or not then?
Re: When was the last time you saw this
hmm doesn't seem that odd, at least for me. i always find the AS does exceedingly well in my campaigns which annoys me.
Re: When was the last time you saw this
Even, I once seen Blue death (Baktria) kick out the AS and Ptolies.... and fight me afterall (When I play Saby'n) but that was the result of my harrasment and assasination... heheheh....

The Ptollies are basically on the verge of destruction!
Re: When was the last time you saw this
in my m/m KH campeign, im experiencing the strongest Pontus and AS ever.
Pontus managed to take Pella from me, I kicked them out and ninjad Nikea. To ceasefire, I demanded Byzantium and they somehow accepted..
AS started off by continously attacking Halicarnus (can't remember all the city name) and they kept on rebelling to me. From there, I managed to push them back and extended my power to Ankyra/ Ipsos.
After few turns of ceasefire, AS came up with several huge army and managed to recapture Ipsos.
toughest campeign ever. Thanks heaps EB:2thumbsup:
