Interesting things noticed...
About the units. From what I gather from those choosing to mod the demo, it appears many units come into play with White uniforms. We also see that so long as you unlock a faction, you can easily assign the units from another faction to it, and those units then take on that factions colors.
:jawdrop:
This harks back MTW, where units had transparent colors (green and purple) that would be replaced with the controlling factions colors. This will make modding incredibly easy, for units at least! This means one can create a unit, assign the transparent colors, and assign it to the factions one wants - skipping skinning it for every faction and taking up more units slots, as well as assigning it multiple times in the Model.DB (if we have one - they may be nice and give us a much easier and user friendly one this time :laugh4:)
This also means armies will be able to shift more fluidly now - how many of you remember in RTW and M2TW that bribing an army only netted you units that your faction could control? This limited the use of bribery to the point it wasn't really worth it.
Now, we could possibly bribe an entire stack and gain all of the units! Bribery means something again!
Sorry if this is a bit overexcited, but the long drawn out process of creating one unit multiple times to be used by several factions and taking up more slots then necessary was one of the major turn offs.
WHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEE! :beam::beam::beam:

I hope bribery only extends to an army's leader or general, as the idea of bribing an entire army to join your faction in the 18th century seems a bit off. There will always be Benidict Arnolds, but I doubt England could have bribed a revolutionary French army for example lol. If it is in, ohwell not a big deal.
Ofcourse the hope for easier modding is always a huge ~:cheers:

Holy Shiite Muslim!
You mean bribery might actually be...AFFORDABLE?
We may actually get to USE it on stacks larger than three units without having some general demand 4/5ths of the national treasury for the privilege of employing his services?

I'm glad that most of the factions will have the same basic units. It really helps balance and playability in MP as well.
