AAR Ideas. Don't worry me good English
Ahem.
People, I want to start an AAR. You've read the thread title, so this is redundant.
I don't know, I read other AARs, think "This is pretty good, I should do one" and then forget about that happening. That is my first problem. I'm not very motivated. I'm actually supposed to be doing homework right now, so you get the idea. If I actually start writing, I will have a difficult time stopping, and will most likely skip words. I don't edit well. And the posts will be fairly slow.
Another concern is that I'm not really a historical-accuracy kind of guy. I mean, I figured out that Arcani made no sense, but my characters may act un-200BC and occasionally mention refridgerators. This is also a good time to highlight my unseriousness. I need to crack jokes, or make fun of the situation. Nothing dramatic for me, it will be fairly lighthearted.
This might seem pretty bad, but I do write quite frequently. I know how to develop characters, and I can assure you that it won't just be:
Joe Roman went to [City] and took it, defeated them in a heroic victory, and enslaved the populace. Then I pacified to region.
I would like some opinions, on whether or not I should start one. I'm split, and I really just want some unbiased opinions. Don't worry about which faction or anything, a simple yes or no to this question will suffice.
Thank you in advance.

Yes and no cuz: yes if you do a sab'yn 1. No if you don't cuz there are too many AARs out there too keep up with.
Re: AAR Ideas. Don't worry me good English
Writing an AAR is quite a lot of work. If you are not motivated and don't know wheter you should write one or not, you shouldn't.
Re: AAR Ideas. Don't worry me good English
if you're going to do it, do it. if not, don't. but i don't think you need to canvas for support or opinions before you begin. the quality of your story and storytelling will get you readers, and you need to do it cos you enjoy the telling, not cos you need the support.

Just don't write a Romaioi AAR. Everything else is fine to me.

well, as said before, aars are alot of work. you have to have a lot of time to think of them. also try to think of a story before you even start writing(if u plan on writing a story aar with well developed charactors. the most important thing is that you enjoy your aar before other people enjoy it.
Re: AAR Ideas. Don't worry me good English
I've abandoned the idea for now, too much schoolwork. But I've got a few screenshots that I've been messing around with, and I think I have a few good ideas.
