Rome vs Greece Question for EB Team

I was wondering what you guys thought of the Roman units listed on the website? I've been debating whether or not its accurate to run around in Polybian and Marian with only the units listed on the website since they lack missile and anti-cavalry support for those eras.

I've been arguing for a list of allied units that should be part of the roster. If anyone with in depth military knowledge of the period could help, it would be much appreciated.

I support you, as a fellow Romani player, I am very restricted in my army composition anyway, but no allies? How can later armies survive?

A KH army lacks auxiliaries that other Hellenistic factions have (Macedonia's Thracian Peltasts and Pontus/Ptolemy/Seleukid misc. Galatian troops). It's also odd that they don't have Syrakousan Hoplitai.

Allied units are fine, the problem is spamming them.
