empire for xp question

I have a couple of questions which i dont get about this game and i hope those of you who have bought the game could give me an inside about it.
I usually buy all my stuff thru amazon.co.uk and i was trying to get it but all they sell there is the empire for vista but havent seen any for xp and that´s what i have. Is there one for xp or it was released just for vista?.
Question 2. I have played the demo and it was just amazing to see how smoothly it ran for the comp that i have so does the game run as good as the demo or since it´s bigger is a different story?.

i'm not on that vista band wagon and i'm still stickin' to XP: the game run just fine (well there the odd bugsssssssssssss & CTDssssssssss but even the "vista slaves":clown: got those)

I guess if the demo was runnin' fine the full game should run just fine too

So? then there is an xp version or the one that says vista is for both operating systems?

Don't worry about it, for some reason Amazon has it listed as working only on Vista which I too thought was odd but I bought it from them anyway and they're talking nonsense of course. It works fine on XP.

The "Vista" version works fine with XP so long as you have Service Pack 2 installed, it's one of the automatic updates I think. I have the same version, on Amazon it's listed as needing Vista but I have it working fine on my XP system.

Regarding performance, I'd say the main game runs a little better if anything, at least the load times seem a little more bearable (albeit still long).

Yeah Amazon should really be made aware of this because if I hadn't followed the progress of this game and been familiar with communities like this I would've thought "Vista only? Damn" and not bought it.
