How does one delete save games?

There's no ingame delete button for saved games. Can they be deleted? Is this going to be fixed in a patch?

You can still do it manually, but it is a bit of a pain.

I doubt it would be very hard for CA to implement a delete save, and I really hope they do. Rooting through my files is a real pain..

The most curious thing is that off all places they could be written to, CA opted for a hidden folder.
