Re: Le FUSIL (Unit Stat Guide) for Empire Total War
Congrats, great work brandybarrel!
I only have one question, in your guide you mention a rank bonus (lower right corner of each page). How does this work?
Units receive like boosts of their stats if they are deployed in more than one rank?
Anybody knows something about it?
-
Re: Le FUSIL (Unit Stat Guide) for Empire Total War
Thanks for the replies...
@ Leodegar - The bonus is not related to unit formations but to unit experience. The values shown are the increases to the unit stats for each level or rank the unit gains through experience. Though, in afterthought I should have put a chevron icon to make this clearer. Thanks.

Re: Le FUSIL (Unit Stat Guide) for Empire Total War
Great piece of work ~:)
Is there any chance of adding the native troops you can recruit?

Re: Le FUSIL (Unit Stat Guide) for Empire Total War
great! I had been looking forward to a version of this for ETW.
One question though: What happened to the Austrian Pandurs?
Probably in line with the above Q on data on Native forces, and i guess due to the fact that this was based on the custom battle stats?
Will you be able to do such a guide for the campaign recruitable units?
-
Re: Le FUSIL (Unit Stat Guide) for Empire Total War
Excellent work, thanks.
May I however suggest something I could very well do myself but am too dang lazy to ? Side-by-side comparison of similar troops. E.g. all factions have line infantry, but they all have different stats, so a "line infantry by faction" chart would be great too.

Re: Le FUSIL (Unit Stat Guide) for Empire Total War
This has to be one of the coolest unit guides, THANK YOU! :bounce:

Re: Le FUSIL (Unit Stat Guide) for Empire Total War
Thanks once again for the comments and feedback.
For the time being Le FUSIL will illustrate the 12 playable faction’s units from its home theatre or Custom Battle availability. There are several reasons for this: one being that I had wanted to get Le FUSIL out to the community as soon as possible and another being that some modding is required to have non-playable factions’ unit pictures be put on screen, etc. I am currently looking into this but may wait until CA release their mod tools.

Re: Le FUSIL (Unit Stat Guide) for Empire Total War
I see there's a German flag next to the Prussian flag. Does Prussia morph into the German Empire if you destroy and occupy all the German states?
-
Re: Le FUSIL (Unit Stat Guide) for Empire Total War
I believe it's the revolutionairies who carry the German flag
-
Re: Le FUSIL (Unit Stat Guide) for Empire Total War
Well, it is the flag for Prussia if you revolt into a republic. Most nations get these at times.

Re: Le FUSIL (Unit Stat Guide) for Empire Total War
Thanks everyone for your comments and feedback.
I believe some of the questions have been answered by other members - thanks. All suggestions are considered and looked into.
A new page has been added to Le FUSIL v1.5 (See OP for link): Theatres - (units: Colonial, Company-India, American Auxiliary, and Native American factions)

Re: Le FUSIL (Unit Stat Guide) for Empire Total War
Could you guys include colonial units?
I remember back in 1.2, Russian colonials were much better than their normal units, and having these as comparison helps.

They are still there. You can recruit them south from Armenia.
-
Re: Le FUSIL (Unit Stat Guide) for Empire Total War
I do realize I can recruit them south of Armenia and in Africa as well, what I meant was brandybarrel ought to include them in the Fusil for comparison.
-
Re: Le FUSIL (Unit Stat Guide) for Empire Total War
Hi FactionHeir,
I have included Colonial units on the “Theatres” page.
If you are referring to other units, please specify in detail by unit name.
Thanks in advance... :smiley2:
