Are you saying that the presence of Germans caused it to fail? I wouldn't compare a military operation with a game, in any case.
We already know that you are disappointed in ETW. I don't see the point of this thread. If you are looking for a reason to discuss Market Garden, just go to the Monastery.
It has its problems, but it is still fun. I am confident that a majority of major gameplay issues will be fixed, at least.
I think you misunderstand Beesting! He's referring to the bug that I experienced just last night.
I was playing as Great Britain and had just successfully invaded the United Provences with a full stack army. I started to lay siege to the regional capital and noticed that apart from the citizen militia there was a full SS Panzer division in the opposing stack.
Needless to say my line infantry were badly mauled by the panzer grenadiers and accompanying tigers.
Well, it does have plenty of hedgerows.
Let me undertsand this... you saying there were men dressed in SS uniforms and had actual tanks or are you saying they fought like a SS Panzer unit? :inquisitive:
Dont feed them.
and on that note; OMG! I START WITH PANZER TANKS!
More like pansy tanks.
OT in know by its funny - WW2 Superpower2 Style! :laugh4:
Caligula That was very funny and entertaining I must say. Well done lmao
So next time CA should trust the local Dutch resistance?
Caligula : Nice one that was really funny :laugh4: :2thumbsup:
:laugh4::laugh4::laugh4: @ Caligula's post!
Nice one Caligula-I love the 'Nuts!' reference!
Nice post BeeSting - more like Operation Barbarossa though:laugh4:
That one confuses me even more, because the British didn't participate in Barbarossa. ????
And for more silly WWII nonsense, search World War II: The Video Game on Uncyclopedia.
@Caligula

It is terrible when you airdrop your redcoats into Holland and some East Front veterens happened to have been recently transfered there to rest. Tsk.
