Savegames and Annual Reports

Here, we will pass savegames over to other players. The first savegame will be posted here and, after discussions held at the Synedrion and the Basileus' orders, players will make their moves each and then re-post the savegame here for the next player to make his moves. When all players makes their moves, the savegame will be taken by the Basileus, who will end the turn. No one else has the permission of ending turns, except if the Basileus decides otherwise. Savegames are first compressed, then uploaded here.

Upon the posting of a savegame, the first player to retrieve it must state it by post immediately. All other players have to wait for the last player to post the new savegame in order to make their personal moves. You are all encouraged of acting as swiftly as possible, in order for this game to move with a steady pace.

When posting a savegame, you have to name it according to a certain format. The format is as follows:

TVS-Date-Season_Number-Savegame_Number

So the first savegame that will be posted, is going to be: TVS-272-1-01, indicating that it's a TVS savegame (obviously), the year is 272BC, it's the first Season of the year (Spring) and it's the first savegame of the same year. Next will be TVS-272-1-02, next turn's will be TVS-272-2-01 etc.

The Basileus is the one (unless decided otherwise by himself) who ends turns. At the end of each turn, a small description is prepared by the Basilikos Grammateus of the moves that where made on each turn.

Annual reports, are reports that are posted at the end of each year by the current Basilikos Grammateus. It is basically a summary of the reports of each turn that passed.

Changes made: Moved Karpos Aiginios and Antipatros Lamiakos to Pella, and added the "Strategos" trait to Antigonos and Krateros.

Building: Drains in Pella, Demetrias and Korinthos

1 fleet, 1 unit of Classical hoplites in Mytiline and 1 Akontistai were disbanded (This wasn't ordered but seemed necessary to me if we wish to become profitable).

38 mnai in treasury.

Pyrrhos has not attacked Pella, unsure of his position. His son is still were he was last turn, with no other units in his army. The KH have an army west of Korinthos, looks to be en route to Thermon.

I intend to leave Krateros in Korinthos so haven't touched anything. Only other thing of interest is Krateros and Alexandros already seem to have the classic EB Makedon confusion over how much they actually drink.

Basileus Report, Summer 272 BCE

Antigonos have moved further north and taken with him the Hippeis Thessalikoi from Demetrias.

For whatever reason, Alkyoneus had illegally been appointed Kleronomos Basileios, so Antigonos Gonatas have had to to correct this problem. Krateros is once again the heir to the throne.

Not much happened, Pyrrhos left our territory, KH army still west of Korinthos. Treasury -466.

Tried to gain peace with Epirote but it was refused. Didn't try force diplomacy as I didn't feel it was appropriate (to be honest I never use it in my campaigns and I'm probably not the best person to judge when we should use it). Lowered taxes in Mytilene and Chalkis to encourage growth, taxes in Korinthos raised to very high due Krateros' uber ability to control a settlement on his own. Used axes and torches to destroy another fleet (:skull: kidding Iskander :sweatdrop:). Didn't end turn as I wasn't sure if TCV wanted to move, perhaps the Akontista in Demetrias could be given to Alexandros? We really need to decide what we are going to do, our economy won't stand this indecision for long. Unless we destroy some boats...

A KH army has beseiged Korinthos, trapping poor Krateros inside. Alexandros is nearby, but is his little army enough to save his father? The Basileus will not reach Korinthos in time to save his brother. What will happen to our brave Basileus Grammateus? Tune in next week to find out, same Mak time, same Mak channel.

One fleet disbanded as per legislation voting, Basileus' army moved to seige Athens(Phalangitai Deuteroi and Hippeis Thessalikoi didn't have enough points to send to Alexandros, Phalangitai Deuteroi from Pella moved to Demetrias, will be with Basileus next turn). Will end turn in 24 hrs if no one else take save.

Finally into another year. Treasury -2614. I couldn't move Alexandros' army past the KH army beseiging me in Korinthos. Still haven't added the loan to our treasury as I don't know how, or want to know how. Could somebody do the honours please. Two Epirote armies, led by captains, approach Pella.

good thing is, that the besieging KH-army hasn't any siegeweapons yet. lurked aroud Korinth and then headed to the north to watch out for 'nother Epirotai.

Apparently, there seems to be a problem with all savegames. When you click to download them, it sends you ot atomicgamer instead. Will have to wait for it to be fixed, I guess?
