A person at another forum mentioned that if your brute's first fight is against a brute with an animal (e.g dog or a bear) then upon reaching level 3 there is a big chance to get this animal yourself. I am currently trying it, if somebody wants to test, I have a level two with a dog (who is trying to get a bear)
