Framerate plummet over Germania
Hullo
Minor technical niggle that I thought might be more helpful to share than to ignore. I've recently noticed a substantial drop in framerate when scrolling around Northern and Western Europe (particularly Germania) on the campaign map. It's hardly a game-breaker, but still gets to the point of nuisance when attempting to steer a lone roaming diplomat from town to town in that part of the world.
My guess is that it might be caused by the density of tree models there, but I don't remember encountering this sort of slowdown (or at least, not to as great an extent) before now.
Cheers,
Alex

Are campaign shadows turned off for you?
Re: Framerate plummet over Germania
Clicking on the minimap may be more expedient than scrolling, if it's only an issue when scrolling.

It's persistent; the cursor drags along, too, but edge-scrolling is aye more annoying.

No. This is very probably it, thanks.
