celtic army.
Most of my regions are showing a gov t 1. Thus Im building the barracks but they do not appear to be giving the troops i was after ie Neitos, britheran, geastrea. Im not cetain if they are a type 4 or a type 5 line but do i use the 'local call up' line,or do i need a gov 2 /4 building. Im in the right region but need the heavier troops.
thanks

Re: celtic army.
What year are you in? The celtic factions do not get the Neitos and Brihentin untill the Time of Soldiers reform happens.
not sure what you mean by "type 4 or a type 5 line" but to get the Gaesatae you need to have the highest factional barracks (I think) which requires a type 1 government, also you can only recruit them in the south of gaul and the alps.

Re: celtic army.
250.
The type 4 and 5 comes from the eb recruitment viewer and provide different troops. That said what Im after does nt appear despite having the top level.
Thanks

Re: celtic army.
bobbin alraedy answered your question. You need to reach the time of soldiers reform.

Re: celtic army.
time of soldiers gives the troops now is a MIC 5 a govt 2 line, a MIC 4 a govt 2 or the other way around as one gives neitos bretheran etc and the other doesnt

Re: celtic army.
There are two MIC tree's in the game one is Factional (called MIC4 and MIC5 in the recruitment veiwer) this has the Neitos and Brihentin and the other is Regional (called MIC21) this is for troops local to a province.
To build the highest level of Factional barracks you need Gov 1 to build the highest Regional barracks you need Gov 4
Essentially if you want the Neitos and other troops you need to have Gov1 or Gov 2 in a settlement so you can build the right barracks and the Time of Soldiers refoms have to have happen
Sorry if thats not very clear.
