well, the size will be too small to blow up the world (acually, larger power samples are used in H-bombs), but the control of nuclear fusion a la' sun would be a monumental achievement-a huge source of power at our fingertips.
Excellent, looks like we're on target with SimCity's projection of having fusion power by 2050.
