After the incident at Raccoon City, the survivors escaped and headed into the mountains to avoid being infected by the T-virus. The zombies had taken total control of Raccoon City and there were rumors of a government plan to annihilate the entire area using nuclear weapons. Deep in the mountains, close to the Canadian border, there is a small logging community set near a river that winds through the mountain range, and along Rural Route 2. This small community, entirely surrounded by mountains and forests, is called Fair Haven. Perhaps this will be the place to wait out the storm that was unleashed by the outbreak of the T-virus.
Or perhaps this will be the setting of another brutal slaughter...

1. Do not quote your Role PM or any other message from me. You can reveal whatever info you want but you cannot word it exactly as I worded it. No screenshots, etc... or workarounds intended to break the rule without breaking it. If you're not sure, ask, or I may WOG/banstick you.
2. Day phase is 48 hours. Night phase is 24 hours unless an extension is requested or I am missing orders. If so, 24 hour extension may happen. Try to get your orders in ahead of time if you're going to be absent.
3. Voting:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
vote: player
unvote, vote: player
These are the legally allowed forms of voting and unvoting. Be careful to unvote, remember to BOLD. You may abstain from voting. You may vote No Lynch. You must at least vote: abstain or I will WOG you for not participating. Don't miss day and night actions... 72 hours of inactivity will result in replacement. Repeated missing of phases without prior notice will result in replacement at host's discretion.
4. Day Actions:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Forage
Man the Guard Post
Attempt to Escape
Action: Forage
Undo, Action: Man the Guard Post
These are the legally allowed forms of selecting and unselecting day actions. Be careful to unselect, remember to BOLD. You MUST select a Day Action.
Man the Barricade
Fight the Horde
Attempt to Escape
Action: Man the Barricade
Undo, Action: Attempt to Escape
These are the legally allowed forms of selecting and unselecting night actions. Be careful to unselect, remember to BOLD. Don't forget to Man the Barricade!
6. The Guard Post
During the Day Phase, you may experience zombie attacks which will pick off players. Those manning the Guard Post are easy prey if there are very few of them, but they are better protected than those out foraging, because they can combine their defensive ratings together, unlike the foragers.
The downside is that those on the Guard Post cannot forage. The upside is that even if the Guard Post people get eaten, the town is not lost. That can only happen at night when the Zombie Horde is out in force, by breaking through the Barricade.
7. The Barricade
During the Night Phase, you will experience the full wrath of The Zombie Horde. Everyone must man the Barricade and hope for the best... unless you're feeling bold enough to go out and Fight the Horde, in which case you will probably die.
If the Zombie Horde breaks through the Barricade, there will be no stopping the swarm. They will eat you all... and you all will die. Sleep tight.
8. Foraging
You will need items. Most of you have abysmal traits... you're sitting ducks unless you mass yourselves behind a barricade or guard post, and weapons wouldn't hurt either. Get some weapons and ammo... pronto. Just remember those you send out foraging... well.... some of them don't come back alive.
9. Escaping
Eventually you will need to Escape. However, with an ever-growing Zombie Horde, that is nearly impossible. You will need items which can help you escape, or at least enough weapons to survive their attacks.
10. Fighting the Horde
You may have no choice but to fight the Horde... if something really really bad happens. You'd better be prepared, and I don't recommend going out there alone, or at all. When Fighting the Horde, you are outside of the settlement during Night Phase, which makes you extremely vulnerable. The Horde... is very unkind during the night phase. And hungry. And relentless.
11. Item trading
If you want to give someone your item, send me a private message. I need to know about it.
12. Conserve Ammo
Let me know via PM that you wish to conserve your ammo. This is recommended for those of you who have only a clip or two, and now that several of you have weapons and the zombie horde is not at full strength.
You will use that ammo only if your own personal life is in danger. You will again resume using rounds if you get more than one round remaining, or if you say conserve ammo again next round.
Happy 8000 posts, Askthepizzaguy :balloon:

Re: Resident Evil: Omega (In Play)
Night Zero-
In the Arklay Mountains... the FBI agent has been tracking the Umbrella Agent.... and along the winding mountain road, Reginald St. Louis thinks he has finally found his target. He follows the tracks into the woods, and he keeps a keen eye on his surroundings. He takes a step. He holds his breath... he can hear nothing except his own heartbeat and the dull, soft noise of the wind moving through the trees.
The sound of a shotgun echoed through the valley. Reginald St. Louis fell to his knees.
"It didn't have to come to this... you could have just let me escape. Was it worth it?"
The FBI agent could barely speak, as his lungs filled with blood. The commotion attracted the attention of some black birds high above them in the trees, and the shotgun blast had spooked a good number of them into flying away. A few birds who were in the blast radius fell dead to the cold frozen ground.
"Hmph. Try and enjoy the precious remaining time you have left on this earth." The agent said while collecting the FBI agent's weapons. "Remember, it's nothing personal, it's just business."
The man lay on the ground, turning white and shaking, as the Umbrella agent walked away. The FBI agent's vision began to fade. He turned his head, and looked around, vainly searching for help. All he could see around him was the trees, a few dead birds, and a cold fog.

Whats the difference between Guard post and Barricade?

Re: Resident Evil: Omega (In Play)
Just a fair warning on the ratings;
all the ratings look like crap. I used small numbers, not huge ones, to determine your skillz.
Average rating is like a 2.
Manning the barricade is a night action.
Manning the guard post is a day action.

Also I can do some little damage to the zombies when I die :laugh4:

Beefy's skill. I am ok if he cant reveal it, just asking. I am willing to share mine, but I would like to know what assets we have.

Re: Resident Evil: Omega (In Play)
Well this game is going to be different. We all need to work together, or we all will have torn off limbs, by the zombies. My guy has crap for ratings also, that another reason to stick together, and work together!
Vote: No lynch
Action: Forage
I need to find me some guns, and ammo in the woods.

Yea I guess we all have a chance of being a better fighter, if we do manage to find some guns.
Actually I'll go foraging as well.

OOC - Shocking, Beefy didn't vote for me yet! :clown:
IC - Ahem, perhaps introductions are in order, if we are to work together and survive this. I'm Frankfurt Mulligan, a school bus driver. I don't think I could do much in a fight, but I do know these parts pretty well and managed to grab a map.
Right now thought, it will take a heck of convincing to get me out there. Have seen those things?!? I'm staying in the Guard Post (Action: Man the Guard Post), good luck to those of you going out there. No, seriously.
Ah, and... erm... I'm going to Vote: No Lynch, I don't want to send anywhere out there to die, that's just, well, too damn cruel.

Vote No Lynch
I disagree in the half goes out tonight other half goes out tommorow. I think we should determine what ratings we have and send out the best people for the job. I for one have a rating of 2 for both forage and defence.

Action forage
I am a carpenter who managed to get a gun but no ammo so I think I should forage because I need to find less to be useful.
