Viewing a unit's detail card in a battle

I've done this a few times by accident, but I can't figure out how to do it on purpose.

By detail card I don't mean the unit card itself (on the bottom of the screen) I mean the unit's actual card where it shows def stats etc.

I can't find anything about it in the manual
but
I've done it by accident so I'm sure it's possible, (or maybe a glitch the pops up every now and then?)

Any help would be appreciated.

You have to right-click on the unit card for units of your own army, or pause and then double-left-click on the unit itself for units of the enemy. The latter only works if you are close enough to them though.
