Complete uninstall/reinstall with ALX... is it worth it?
After quite a few campaigns on EB, I got a little tired with the AI's predictability, both in the campaign and in battles. A lot of posts on the forum talk about the improved AI on alx.exe, leaving me pondering whether to try completely uninstalling EB (and perhaps rtw altogether if i need to), then reinstalling with alexander.
I got close to this once, but after installing alx i got a little bit confused with the instructions and gave up.
But before I try again (and delete my precious saves) I was wondering if anyone (preferably who plays with alx) could tell me whether it's worth the hassle in the end. It'd be nice to see some more interesting faction development, for instance with the casse, that i've heard can happen more often with alex.
Also my EB has been CTDing quite a bit so I thought it would be a good idea to install one of the mods to stop them happening at the same time.
[i was going to try and fit a 'hellenic irrigation' joke into there somewhere but I already lost my dignity half way through]
Any feedback is appreciated

Sorry, which mods are those? Are you talking about the fixes I've posted? You can install those with no fear for your savegames.

I've come across a few links to some whilst lurking, i'd assume that they are your ones.
In any case I'll have a go at downloading the fixes, I was just thinking that whilst I was messing around reinstalling everything I could use them.
Also cheers for the work on the 1.2 fixes, I had a look at the link in your sig and they look pretty helpful :)
