We may all have our personnel opinions of his private life but let's remember him for his music.
He's currently in hospital, has he died already? ~
Wow. Not like I'm the guys biggest fan or anything, but this has an odd unreal quality to it.
R.I.P I guess. May not like him, but I won't speak ill of the dead...
Edit: Quintus, the story says he was dead when he arrived and they were unable to resuscitate him.
Well he will certainly be remembered, he lead a rather odd life. Never really liked his music all that much TBH.
Seems sky news got it wrong, apparently he's in a coma. Even still he's probably not going to come out of it..
Now we'll never have a giant robotic MJ in Las Vegas with frickin' lasers for eyes. Sadness.
-edit-
For those who never witnessed it in all its glory, Captain Eo part 1 and part 2.
its Human Nature... I can't help it, I feel bad for the guy. He's off the wall, Falling in love with the lost children, black or white, He should have just stayed in the closet, and beat it, instead of getting himself involved with pretty young things. Being Just Good Friends was HIStory. He's a smooth criminal, and a dangerous tabloid junky. Whatever Happens, He's Gone to Soon, I'm Speechless, but I think Heaven Can Wait.
Leave me alone...:sweatdrop:
As a kid I remember watching the Jackson 5 shows, they even had a cartoon. He had an amazing voice even as a little kid, and his dance moves became legend as he grew up. Too bad his adult life became such a bizaare tragedy.
:shame:
Always liked Michael and his music. Prayers go out to his family.
Breaking news all over now. The "King of Pop" is dead. His personal life was a mess, but he was a genius songwriter and performer in his own right. RIP.
.
RIP
I've never liked anything about him too much but nevertheless he was a childhood memory.
.
Totally unexpected.
He wasn't an old guy, either, he was only 50. Stateside we've got more info- apparently he died of cardiac arrest, and they're unsure if it was drug-related or not.
Too bad... his music may not have been everyone's cup of tea, but there's no denying he was one of the biggest celebrities in the world, and revolutionized pop music.
Not a big fan of his music but I will never deny that he was talented.
His career took off when I started elementary school, and he was huge again when I was at uni.
Wishing him well on his final journey.
I'm sure the stuff about his adult life is all a hoax, about some kids just trying to make some money.
But whatever... his music was great, and he will be remembered.
Wow, that was quite surprising news. On the other hand, no... it's gotta have an impact when you do to your body what he obviously did.
while i never really liked his music, he was an icon. RIP
I heard in the radio a comment that someone said.
"If he's in heaven.... someone better warn Saint Peter to hide baby jesus!!!"
Made me chuckle...
Rest in Peace.....and he was a great dancer, no denying that.
But this is unreal you now.....he's been around since I was a kid...and there was a time when he was a craze among the masses...
Such a tragic person, RIP for now.

I grew up with his music. I didn't like everything, but I still have good memories about how we tried to dance like him as kids.
Rest in peace, Mister Jackson. And thanks for the good times
I remember back in 1984, Michael played a 3 gig set at BC place in Vancouver (our biggest venue). To this day that concert tour stands as the most successful entertainment event in the history of western Canada! Over 100,000 people attened!
He was definitely an innovator + as a youth he was an astonishing tallent. My heart goes out to his family. R.I.P.
R.I.P. I'm one of those who liked his music.
RIP. Very unexpected.
I was born after Thriller and thus its sorta strange to think about, how suddenly and unexpected this happened.
Whenever a big entertainer dies who has been huge literally my entire life, it's interesting to try to imagine what the modern state of music would be without them. Especially so in this case since a lot of the younger talents these days (my generation) all seem to name him as an influence. RIP.
Heh, I don't think anyone i knew who tried to do the moonwalk could ever do it right. (myself included) :laugh4:Quote:

As a son, a brother and a father myself, my condolences go out to his family.
Michael Jackson was…
a. “the King of Pop!”
b. [edit]
c. [edit]
d. all of the above.
Choose wisely.
[Let's wait until he's in the ground before we talk about his well-documented personal problems. That's the Org tradition. —Lemur]
