Uses of force diplomacy

So ive just downloaded the force diplomacy mod, as im getting tired of the strange AI behaviour.

Was wondering if many people use it, and how extensively.

I obviously want to keep some random elements in the game, but im itching for some ceasefires with people who haven't even boardered me for nigh on 20 years.

Also can you use it to force wars between AI nations, via the attack x demand. And one more thing, if i make say, epiros ceasefire with me, will they ever attack me again without my aid?

Please do tell of any experience, im looking for a more interesting and 'historical' game.

I'm surprised you are receiving these warnings from Pahlava considering the distance between you both (unless there's something I'm missing from the small map). But evidently you are. You have, of course, tried calling a cease fire without the aid of FD, and they constantly reject?

FD is considered one of the must-have mini mods for EB, and many players use it with varying extent. What you want to know can mostly be found on the FD thread. Have you read through it all first?

That is not something I've tried, but I know some players are able to encourage wars between AI factions using FD. I'll leave it to them to explain how. I believe it mainly involves console work rather than FD.

Unfortunately not true. FD does not make the RTW engine diplomacy any better, it just helps to force terms on the AI. They are just as likely to break ceasefires dishonourably and randomly as they are had you gained a ceasefire 'legitimately' (I use the term loosely).

FD does improve the game a lot, as it helps the player to have some degree of control over the stupidity of the AI diplomacy, but it only does so much, I'm afraid.

Strangely enough I did that same thing in my Getai campaign. I needed a few turns to rebuild and had managed to get peace with the Maks by forming an alliance with the Romani. Anyway they would come to me every turn with a give us Pella or we will attack. I refused that and made the counter offer of please don't attack or we will attack. It actually worked for about 15 turns or so.
