Creative input: insert here.
The following purely hypothetical situation:
suppose you're a photographer and you want to broaden your portfolio. You work on location, not in a studio. You want something different, something weird even maybe. You've got a gorgeous model at your disposal and a very jealous girlfriend, so no nudity/boudoir allowed.:whip:
Any ideas for a theme, or inspirational pictures?

Use perspective to make it seem like she's holding up a large heavy object. There is a balancing rock here in NSW and my parents have a picture of me when I was about 5 where I am in a weightlifters pose and it looks like I am supporting a rock easily 10 times my height on my shoulders. It's one of the funniest pictures in our album, I even had an expression like I was really struggling with it. :laugh4: It was also taken in a way that the small balancing point isn't visible, which makes it even better

Extremely 'normal' scenes? Cooking, cleaning, you get it. Perfect contrast with sensuality.

Is the woman French? If so I have an idea for an outfit.

What's available as far as dress and setting? Maybe check DeviantART's people section for inspiration?

Seconded, except maybe for the "make up with girlfriend" part. You ain't married, and jealousy is a deal-breaker in a relationship. If you had tied the knot things would be different, but until that fateful day you have options.

And Beirut....:laugh4:
that thought would never cross my mind

That even in difficult times of poverty and discontent, there is still beauty in the world. Subject emphasis on simple, natural beauty, in environments and situations that illustrate the times. Avoid pretentiousness. The whole greater than sum of parts when the beautiful subject interacts with the environment in a beautiful way.

Re: Creative input: insert here.
Cliched and everything as it is, I still like the silhouette of a tree and figure leaning against it at sunrise/sunset. Get's me everytime. :embarassed:
Re: Creative input: insert here.
Sooo...
When do we get to see these "hypothetical" pictures??
Re: Creative input: insert here.
Send me the model and I'm sure I'll think of something.

Seconded...
Re: Creative input: insert here.
Hide her in the background, hide the background in her.? Put only a small part of the model in picture, make the rest the background. For example her eye against the background. Some crazy experiments with lenses and or light can work as well?
Re: Creative input: insert here.
I'm surprised that he chose a girl and not a camel. Seriously.
