Ok, so I got the imperial reforms (the few and the brave) but the bodyguards are still equites consulares. THey should be singulares right? Is there a seperate trigger?

The only way to enable Imperial Bodyguards would've been with March of Time event. This would've been ahistorical though since all the Roman reforms are triggered by the EBBS script.
The Singulares bodyguared are no longer in EB. As said, they are an imperial unit that could only be triggered by an event that was way too early for an imperial unit. IIRC, all their aspects are still in the files and can be reactivated with a little modding.
