mod:switch not working

The mod:switch isn't working for me anymore, it has been though, before I changed something that caused pretty much every in-game screen to flash spasmatically that I couldn't reverse, so I reinstalled the game and re-patched it to 1.5. I don't know what has happened that has made it refuse to work, my rome target is: "C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe" -mod:campaignmod , and the folder named "campaignmod" is in the rtw folder where it should be, i.e
-campaignmod
-data
-preferences
-docs
etc.

If anyone has a solution I would be most grateful.

are you using vista? I wonder if that might have done something funny with the file locations when you reinstalled....

Nah I'm on good ol' XP, another thing I have noticed is: In the "add or remove programs" thing, I have two romes
- Rome Total War - patch 1.3 Size: 8,646.00MB
and
- Rome - Total War(TM) Size: 2,678.00MB

I don't know if this is at all related to the mod:switch problem, but it seems strange, and the fact that the "patch 1.3" Rome is such a huge size.
