look again, my friend. there are quite a few Hellenic units that have them, mainly Spartiates and Epilektoi.

There are quite a few EB units with them, IIRC, but there is almost no evidence for their use during the EB timeframe. Still, this is really just an unimportant and nitpicky issue.

spartans? really? if i remember correct almost every hellenic cavalry unit has them or at least 50%.

There is a thread in the EBII forum about the color of Spartan shoes. Nothing is small enough to not nitpick.
@Watchman, if you're reading this: Did bracers affect the armor/defense values you used or are they purely aesthetic?
