Quick Land or Sea Battle MP game search
Has anyone EVER got this to work??
For me it just counts down 2 sets of #’s starting at like 60,000, eventually it pauses and I get some kind of rotating circle thing, then it either rotates for eternity or it resumes counting to zero…at which point it may or may not say no games available
I must say that this is hardly “quick”, furthermore it doesn’t even work?!
MP is a disgrace, and seems to be on the backburner as far as patches go,
I imagine a great deal of players are like me at this point and are kind of bored with the campaign and would enjoy a real challenge online. Without the laborious and time consuming task of getting into an actual working game

PS in mp games if the host quits because all his units have routed everyone gets kicked out??!!!

Yes. Quick battle will take 2 people who clicked that button at around the same time and send them on a random map with a random factions default army. It needs at least 2 people clicking it at the same moment.
I don't think MP is a disgrace, to be honest having played RTW and M2TW MP it seems the same basic the same model.. someone hosts someone joins, they fight, someone wins.

I would think so, hasn't it always been that way?
Honestly if your the host and its a 2v2 or 4v4 you have a responsibility to sit there and watch even if your army is no more.

Yes and it does work every time. But I have always ended up playing Seige games this way.
Steam picks the game that you will play.

This is called 'Honourable' play.
Unfortunately you do get a few people that don't like losing hence the Quit.
