Help me please! Need technical support!

Hello everyone.

Well, this is my first thread, but it’s a pity, that it is devoted to such sad issue.

After several “glitches”, when I was thrown away from EB, I start to admit different colorful pixels in
video, game, photos, even Word documents. Then in two months they became a “film-grain” in EB,
also on the campaign map appeared random red, blue, green spots and so on. The video films got
colorful stripes like on TV with bad signal. I suppose my Videocard is one foot in grave.:furious3:


So the question is: Am I going to face such problems after buying new Videocard and playing EB? I
heard that other people had the same problems after computer throw them away from it. May be I
should just change Video-settings?:wall:


By the way I have NVIDIA GeForce 5200

Buy a new video card.... your video card is INDEED one foot at the grave......

Did you install the newest and up-to-date graphic-card driver?
If not, try that first.

Maybe you could also clean your card if it becomes too hot (also an assertion for funny little dots and stripes)

Yes, the first thing I have done was cleaning my card from the dust, and then I up-dated the graphic driver. Also I have extra capacitors (not sure with the English equivalent for the term) to prevent card being too hot.

Ok, then you need a new graphic card.

Be sure to check which one is compatible to your mainboard!

Finally I have bought new video card much better then I had before, and there are no problems anymore. :2thumbsup:
