The export_descr_unit says this is a combat modifier, does it apply to missiles as well as melee?
Bump? Anyone know if the combat bonus/penalty for forest,snow etc that different troops get applies to missiles (javelins/arows etc) as well as melee?
Seems realistic to only apply to melee but not sure if the game engine can differentiate.
As far as i know (i read it a lot of time ago in total war center), the combat bonus of terrain apply only to melee, and only increases the defense, not the attack.

Thanks, thats for MTW2 though, Ill have a look around there for RTW.
Probably applies for RTW too as they both use the same engine (although M2TW is modified a bit) and so share a lot of similarities.
