Hardees v.s. McDonalds
Why is this in the Backroom instead of the Frontroom? Well, because every time I talk about this with someone it gets to subjects of sexuality and politics, so I thought that I would save the moderators some trouble and just post it here. :P
Ok, here is the deal, which place do you like to eat at the most (assuming you eat at either, otherwise do not waste my time by posting :beam:), and why do you prefer it over the other? The price? The menu? The types of people it attracts? Your sexual preference? The colour of your car? ... you get the point.
For me, it is Hardees hands down. I very rarely eat out, but when I do, it is always Hardees. The food there is marvelous (as good as the really expensive crap you get at some of the fancy sit down restaurants, and better than some), and the food costs a fraction of the cost. I generally have much better experiences with the employees there than I ever did at McDonalds, it is always clean, very quick considering the quality of food you are getting, and of course I have chest hair.
McDonalds food tastes like Chris Matthew's socks, is made of much cheaper, less healthy ingredients (esp their shakes), employees at every McDonalds I have ever been at were arrogant turds, and they had been generally pretty filthy.
Get to it, which one and why?

Re: Hardees v.s. McDonalds
both disgusting. I can't stress enough, how horrible fast food is. Takes five minutes to make a sandwich...

lol, I know it is not healthy, which is why I very rarely eat it (I get fat enough with my own cooking :P). It still tastes good though!

Um....5$ footlongs? It's no more exspensive than either of the places you listed
If I eat fast food it's going to be at Whataburger, raising Cains or Freebirds.
I will eat McDs dollar menu if I'm low on cash and need the cals.

A ham footlong with all of the veggies and cheese is $5. How is that too expensive?
-edit-
Strike beat me to it. He's just too much man for the rest of us.

Re: Hardees v.s. McDonalds
I think I was 10 the last time I ate at a Hardees. McDonalds is just nasty all around save for the fries.
Subway is actually pretty good... can't beat a 5 dollar sub...
Wendy's is truly king.

Hardees coupons are everywhere (I have a clip as thick as my...umm...wallet full of them), even free to print on their Facebook page. Two of the papers around here include full sheets. With those coupons (which they let you use multiple times) you can get the 1/3 pound Thickburger and the Deluxe Chicken Sandwhich for only $3. (EDIT: each of course) It costs $2 more for a footlong, and the best ones aren't included in the $5 deal anyway! Does that $2 (almost the price of the burgers I get at Hardees) make a dif? Yes when you can only afford to eat at Hardees once a week. :P (I am a college student you know...and one who is trying to stay out of debt :P) I could eat out a lot less often if I went to Subway. Also, the food tastes a heck of a lot better at Hardees. :beam:
EDIT: Anyway, how could anyone resist this?

Wendy's is the only "conventional" fast-food burger place I'll go.
Was forced to go to a McDonald's in San Diego earlier this year, got one of the Angus burgers they were touting. Pretty good, I was pleasantly surprised. Tried one here a few months later, utter crap. Does California mandate better quality out of McDonalds?

lol, not actually. I remember reading somewhere in a study that conservatives are more likely to go to Taco Bell, Dairy Queen, and Hardees than they are McDonalds, Wendy's, or Cousin's Subs. That is something I actually use when I talk to my conservative friends to try to convert them to Hardeesism. That does not really matter a heck of a lot though. :P As for the money, I use my quarters for parking meters and am always running out. You are talking to a guy who has been sporting the same shoes for 3 years. :P I finally replaced them in Hungary when they broke in two. :P
And that also does not change the fact that Hardees food is true ambrosia, and nothing compares. :beam:

Conservatives eat at the place which is most expensive. It makes them look better.

Doesn't change the fact you have bad taste in food.

lmao, Taco Bell, Dairy Queen, and Hardees are hardly expensive. Actually, most liberals I know like to eat at expensive 'sophisticated' places like pricey Italian, and French places (and a lot of Chinese places). Nothing wrong with that though, sophistication is not a bad thing, but neither is liking plain food. It mostly has to do with the individual though.

Re: Hardees v.s. McDonalds
I usually follow a long lasting family tradition... To eat with knife and fork, not with my hands like an animal.
Silly me.

Re: Hardees v.s. McDonalds
Western food sucks. Asian food is teh bomb. Who doesn't like stuff thrown into boiling water? Rice, veggies, fish, meat, what else do you need? Easy to chew too!

Lmao, a lot of 'Western' countries (Hungary FI) eat lots of soups and stews. Personally, I do not like Korean food as it is way too hot (same complaint I had with Hungarian food), but some Chinese is ok. In general though, I do not like Asian food. I think it has something to do with hating rice, hating hot foods, hating the spices they use, and the lack of pickles. That said, I have heard that it is often very healthy (esp Japenese food), so I am sure that if you like that taste it is a very good choice. The problem with making broad statements about 'Asian' food though is that it differs a lot from country to country, just as 'western' food does. Know what I mean?

Re: Hardees v.s. McDonalds
So you have Mc.Ds which is crap, tasteless and unhealthy or hardees which is crap, tasteless and amazingly even more unhealthy than McDs crap.
Hard choice , do you prefer **** A or **** B:dizzy2:

Thank you for non-intentionally provocative post #10,323! I LOVE how you add to discussions Tribesy! Seriously!
That said, where do you live? I remember people joking about you living in a Marshland, so I am assuming that you live in Ireland. Do they even have Hardees out on the Irish frontier? ~;)
FYI, Hardees food tastes very good. It may be larger and have more calories than McDonalds food, but it is actually quite a bit healthier and made out of real stuff. They are certainly no more unhealthy than most homemade or store-boughten burgers. Tell me, what healthy staple do you in Ireland eat?

Re: Hardees v.s. McDonalds
Hardees... I had quite a laugh when I checked their vegetarian options...
Basicly, it's the same burger, without the meat! :laugh4:
They couldn't be bothered to come up with a veggie burger???
oh, oh, oh!!! Their slogan for this is: "The meat goes. The flavour stays".
Are they claiming that the actual burger has nothing to do with the flavour? :juggle2:
