CTD when I click on a unit card

hello people, here is my problem. I load a savegame, try to click to any unitcard in a city or in an army, the game instantly crashes. So I tried not to click but to skip to next season, the game crashed. Then I tried not to activate background script and again the same thing, though sometimes when I clicked on a next turn it worked till 5th or 6th faction before it collapsed.
I tried with older savegames, but everything worked perfectly.

I play as Arverni, so far I eliminated Aedui, Romans and Sweboz, at war with Carthagians and Eleutheroi.

I also posted the same thing on the other forum, but no reply :help:

It crashes just if you click on ANY unitcards? Or are there some on which it does not crash?

Fixes for EB1.2 are installed?

If you have a savegame not to far away from this crash, use that.

Did you modify any files of EB, or did you install some mini-mods?

It happens when I click on any. Today it crashed when I opened building description. I do not have any minimods. EB1.2 is installed.
I loaded the game turn before one of the major battles I had with Carthagians. It worked. Everything after that didn't.
I believe it's a memory issue, or CPU usage though I didn't have any problems with it before. Anyway, today I'll install Windows 7 so will see how will it work.
