I just watched an episode of Robot Chicken for the first time...
... And it was rather disturbing. I saw a little girl find Pegasus with his hoof caught in a bear trap. The girl came back with a pair of large scissors, brutally cut of his wings amid his screams and spattered blood. She then drugged him out, took him home, and roughly painted him pink which ended up looking disturbing; then when he woke up, she started whipping him violently unti he was bathed in blood and admitted his name was Honeymuffin, which he was previously denying.

Yeah, Robot Chicken quite often does that "look how dark and strange we are, isn't it HILARIOUS?" stuff. It can be quite amusing at times though.

The show is really random and the pop culture references are brilliant. I own the first of their Star War 'movies', and I was in stitches right through that. For example this clip [language warning] is just brilliant :laugh4:

I find Robot Chicken fairly entertaining. Personally, I think that subtler comedy is superior, but there's always the pure chaos of Robot chicken that gets me laughing.

reminds me of the "happy tree friends."

The first two seasons were absolutely brilliant, the latest stuff is good - but somehow I don't think they'll ever top Ted Turner dressing up as Captain Planet and beating the heck outta polluting execs.
Protect the environment, or i'll :daisy: kill you!

What channel/station is this on, I've never seen it before? The animation reminds me a little of Gumby or Davey & Goliath.

Late night on the Cartoon Network.

That's one mode of Robot chicken. There is another skit along those lines where Rainbow bright becomes a canibal. Another mode is where they mash up a whole bunch of things. Like where the Nerd has a dream about the Wizard of Oz. But he replaces the scarecrow, tinman, and lion with "super cool" versions. So they become The Crow, Optimus Prime, and Liono (from Thundercats).
See it here.

Looks like this robot chicken thing may fit within the definition of funny.
'ET phoned home', strangely funny. :laugh4:

I've only watched a few, when I was in America, and I found it quite fun. I get the feeling it would drive me nuts if it was on British TV though.
