Women...Sigh.

It's a sort of rant I'm having lately against the world, or perhaps myself. Or whatever else, I don't know. :furious3:

Example...

Boy meets Girl. Girl meets Boy. They go for a walk in a big city. They have lunch together. They have fun and they talk a lot. Boy and Girl say goodbye, nothing special in between them.

Boy talks to Girl again and leaves. Good Friends come to Boy and says "She just told her friend you are really pissing her off." Boy is surprised. :inquisitive:



Now, what would I consider those kinds of women? Hmmm, nothing really. Daisies is not enough, but it's surprising.
But how do you avoid it when you actually have a love interest? I mean, I just went with a girl today. It was real fun, and she was enjoying me. She actually sent me a message when she got home (not that it means much, but it's the gesture) and I'm hoping something is gonna work.

But I hate double faced people...

Having been married twice and having five grandaughters, I'm still as enlightened to the female psyche as I was at 13. Much better men than I have pondered on this conumdrum. It is indeed a quandary. A dilemma even. Or perhaps to paraphrase Churchill.....

Gah, Don-Juanism content is reaching maximum overload... That said, even the asexual me can relate. How many times I have noticed that women's primary deductive mechanisms are feelings and intuition... It may work with men, yet it frustrates me to no end when they rationalise a wide variety of other things using the same methods. Such as in debates.

Can you imagine, a girl likes an X politician (content censored to keep this Frontroomish) because "he feels rights" and "my feelings tell me he is a good man". Yeah, like as if there is no such thing as organisations solely devoted to obfuscating such individuals through the manipulation of the politician's "public image & relations"...

But of course, at least she had some rationale for supporting a candidate. Millions more voters will lack even that paltry excuse...

The female mistery is no more a mistery once you know it's not.

Females base their world on feelings. Ratio pretty much cannot bother them if they don't want to (they never want to). Their feeling knows no to time such as present or past. Also, they never want to see the "bigger picture". It just doesn't interest them.

For example, they where once pissed by you. Maybe ten years ago. But when they see you, they remember the pissing and because it's in their mind then they are pissed again (what else?).

In your example, it's quite interesting if the friend to whom she said she's pissed is female or male.

If the friend's female as well, then
a) you didn't get her feeling because you're young and b) leave her alone, she'll come to you or not.

If the friend's male, then
it most likely has nothing to do with YOU. It has to do with the friend alone.

I suggest talking to the girl you were "pissing off" and see what she says.

If she was, she's two-faced, dump her.

If she's not, deal with the friend accordingly. :whip:

People talking behind other peoples' back to say to other people that people are talking behind your back who tell you then that other people, who talk behind others' people back, that they talk about you behind your back.

Meh. Waste of time, really.

I wouldn't put too much value into what other people say about what other people say about what other people say. Trust your own instincts and only believe your own first hand experience.

Tell your friend you don't like gossipping. If the girl has something to say to you, she will, sooner or later; if she truly dislikes you, it's in her best interest to tell you that asap.

Gossipping=trouble. Make it clear that you're not into that. For all you know, it's the people who accuse others to have said this or that who are being double faced or playing ugly games.

Apart from some rare exceptions, my experience with such gossips is that most of the time it's those who gossip that are the rotten apples, in this case, your friend and the girls' friend.

Well yes, its just that sometimes it doesnt matter if you are in it - what matters is that others around you are in it...

Its easier of course to deal with it in your private life that one can make clean cuts - not that easy though in professional life or scholastic life when you are part of a group that views you not exactly as you perceive yourself.

Gossip is natural and a part of life - what is important is not to be thrown by it - its impossible to flyswat it to extinction imo. Just make sure it doesnt get in your head.

Women are generally hard to deal with for adolescent/young men as they mature (much) faster than men and are far more pragmatic as to what they want and like and what they dont and this sometimes goes to the extreme and becomes almost cruelty.

Its best in general to wait for women that are clearly interested in you, instead of trying to get women that you are desperately interested in them. Just be patient - women are like buses: none comes for ages and then suddenly they come in twos and threes ...

No. They're still immature, the only difference is that both men and women think that women are more mature when it comes to this sort of thing. The truth is that they are just as immature, just that they're trying not to look it. This is why women around that age tend to appear cruel - because they haven't matured more than men, not in the slightest.

I disagree with you EMFM - there is good reason why everyone thinks they are more mature. Women tend to know by 16 what men understand by 36 in general - after that its fair game, i agree.

Women are better managers, far more reliable decision makers, more resilient, more self knowledgeable and more practical. Until their 30's men are generally hopeless; confused, insecure or by contrast arrogant and egoitistical - which are basically the two sides of the same coin. Men generally rationalise life using the conscious mind (ie the RAM) and end up with the short end of the stick as life often defies logic while women use their insticts and intuition that is the subconscious (ie the CPU) that are infinitely more powerful devices of perception.

I think that their prospective role as mothers plays a part in all these qualities being formed earlier in women. Having the responsibilities of raising younglings is a role so crucial that it can be entrusted only to the very best.

This doesnt make them kinder or saintly - its maturity and life "wisdom" that we talk about here.

It depends how you define immaturity (and so maturity)... if immaturity means making mistakes in how you treat friends or partners - then i agree with you; nobody will ever be without such though.

However i meant maturity as that quality that enables one to know who he is and therefore what he is suppose to be and do relative to his life context; in my experience and view women are far better at this.

Women are surely not without their defects: female vanity, small-mindedness, being harsh, being self-centered and hedonistic and they are really prone at them. Even so, they face them realistically and recognize them as such (defects) for the most part.

Men on the other hand are often unable to face their flaws as such - they tend in fact to love them and be more proud about them than their qualities.

The best reason they appear more collected and calm is because they are - but i know (firsthand) that men your age will never acknowledge this - its quite infuriating and is a large part of the "battle of the sexes".

Life experience is the sum of mistakes you've made, nothing different. If girls commit less mistakes, their life experience must be smaller, not greater.

Also I think the difference between the sexes is due to their different role in reproduction. They pick the partners, not we, so it's only natural that they can be more "colder" in that regard and thus show a greater degree of calmness. But when it comes to "real" problems and decision, they are just hopeless. Which is also proved by the great number of women whose charge is way too much for their abilities.

Indeed - they are naturally placed in the position to make the big life decisions - as you say its them that choose and so they have to do so carefully and wisely since they and their children will have to live with the consequences of that choice.

Women don't necessarily pick the partners. I've turned down girls before and vice-versa that's a two way street.
