Re: How many orgahs have "WOLF" as part of their name?
This is why I don't associate too much with wolves:
http://www.filefront.com/15102407/flashwolfbeta.exe/ (edit: for clarifcation, its a flash soundboard with clips of his voice recorded in teamspeak while he was playing)
I used to play battlefield in a competition with him, he was...12 or 13 at the time.
I imagine him and a certain member no longer with us are much the same, but this Blackwolf grew up, i'm happy to say.

My name means Wolf. That said, there is nothing adorable about wolves. They are vicious, killers and very kewl, but by no means adorable.

Baby anythings are cute. For good reason. It's to entice you to cuddle with them while the parents circle around for the kill.

Ouw... soo much of Wolf family :laugh4: and yeah... I didn't think "cute" was associated with feminine values, "cute" is children's values.... (I was certainly male :beam:)

No, actually we have.... some wild wolf here in Javanese, Sumatran, and Kalimantan forests (didn't know the certain species, but they have brown fur, only a little bigger than big dogs, and called "serigala").

Pesky effeminate names.
Yeah, it is the 'cute' part. Only females generally use the word cute in discribing themselves or others, or it is used in reference to a female if a male uses the word. Males are generally not referred to as cute as an adult and if they are, it can be taken as condenscing, though it really depends on context. For instance, female to female "he is cute.. rawr.." is fine, but "ohhh... aren't you a cutiewutie" is self-explanatory.
Even worse is when they have a quite neutral name or an effeminate name, but they have a picture of a female character as their avatar. Everytime theFlax had that french princess, I was just tempted to think of him as a french princess.

And now he is a bearded Turkoman. How the world changes...

No Orgah needs more than three. That's enough wolves to do anything.

I agree one would be respectful and unsentimental about adult wolves. But aren't dogs basically wolves?[1] The fact that we can find them adorable, cool or cute is probably one reason why we domesticated them (or a close relative) way back when. If they were repulsive (like vultures, say), we probably would not have indulged them hanging around us.
[1] The literal answer is probably no, but 99.8% DNA match is close enough to make my point:

That's a coincidence to be sure, same here, but it in my case her maiden name was spelled "Wolfe"
..
I have ran into wild wolves on occasion here in British Columbia. In these parts encounters with humans are so rare that the wolves are usually pretty uncertain what to do so they just keep their distance. Not that they are incapable by any strech; if they wanted to come after a human it probably wouldn't end well for the human. I am always amazed how fast wolves are when they sprint, they definitely aren't small either.
Actually, a friend of a friend was attacked by a wild wolf near here and was lucky to have survived. The wolf just came out of the woods and locked on to his arm. He kept his cool and instead of going to the ground he stayed on this feet and pulled it back to his kayak on the beach where he had a knife. He then stabbed the wolf repeatedly until it finally let go of his arm and took off back into the woods. Later, when the wardens tracked the wolf and found it's carcass it turned out in the autopsy that the wolf was literally starving, so it just attacked the guy out of desperation.
I generally don't consider them dangerous, but they're still an elite predator. As far as long-distance endurance goes I don't know of any animal that can match them around here.
..
As far as the TW Clan goes, Magy et al, they were definitely some of the best online players of the S:TW era.
