I have met all the requirements for the marian reforms. Does it take a few turns for it to kick in, or is their something wrong?
You must build the Marian Barracks first of course.... :sweatdrop:
Just search in your building lists, you must have a new barracks as available option :san_cool:
Usually if you hit the conditions the very next turn you get a guy in the upper left screen (you know, the script guy) telling you that the Marian reforms have started.
If that does not happen, check your Italian towns. Your Polybian MICs should be destroyed (still in the city) but new buildings available.
If that does not happen either, you did something wrong.
Did you activate the script?
Yes, I activated the script. Looking at my cities, I noticed capua doesn't have the latifundia. I can't remember if I built it, but it is not on my list of completed buildings. However, I still have more than 6 latifundia's in Italy. Any more ideas?
So all of this is completed?Quote:
-At least the year 172BC
-Have more than 6 Latifundia built in Italy
-Hold at least 45 settlements
-Fight more than 250 battles
-Have a character that is:
Sharp/Charismatic/Vigorous
Popularis
Consul or Ex-Consul
Has Influence > 2
Has Command > 2
OR
-Conquer 90 settlements.
All is complete other than the 90 settlements part. I currently have around 50 or so.
Then get those settlements! :furious3:
It says "or" - so you shouldn't need to
See if it triggers if he does conquer all 90 settlements.
