Fun with Korean comic strips
Hello,
I am Askthepizzaguy, and I don't read or write or speak Korean. I will now attempt to translate a Korean comic strip about a play on words involving a type of dried fish food that sounds like "mouse" in English, which is funny in it's own right, or so I am told.
*ahem*
The first panel (below the title of the comic) has a dragon in it, and a dude with no eyes and a grape-man, and someone with a beard that goes to his ears.
Next, there's a teacher, who has a chalkboard, and is speaking to two people and several grapes. He is speaking Korean, but the chalkboard says "Lich" which is an undead creature. (This foreshadows the zombies that come later)
Then, he apparently draws two trees making out. This is an important part of their mating rituals.
Next, he is very sweaty, and he's talking to a sweaty dragon and a sweaty grape man and a giant fluff of hair with no nose. And from his hands, instead of fingers.... a carrot.
In the next frame, you can see him pointing at a fat guy, and saying "I wish someone could make brassiere cups large enough to fit over a guy this big". And there's the kid with a bearded face, and a police officer, and the giant fluff of hair, and they are all sweaty and angry, except for the police officer who is there to arrest them for being too sweaty. He's very happy to do this, because he has lost his sense of smell and gets paid by the hour.
And a guy in the next panel with a broken arm says "Can you speak english?" To which the giant puff of hair with no nose replies: "Mister, please help me, I am being chased by a dragon". And the dragon replies "Dude, check out this freak's hair" and there's an arrow pointing at it.
There is a flat-chested chick, giving herself a breast exam, holding a red purse. She is asking the grape-man if he wants a breast implant, to which the grape-man says "Why would I want one?"
In the next panel, the chick is now reading a pamphlet on breast implants, and she's being chased by a horde of grape-men and a floating piano. In the next panel, she is attacked by Superdog, the caped crusader in canine form, because she is shouting too loud in the library. It disturbs the grape-men when she does this.
Then the police show up and thank Superdog for saving the day, but Superdog has rabies and bites her arm off while he makes love to her bags. Next, the police check their laptop to see what the cure for rabies is, while the woman stands nearby, looking intoxicated, and missing her left arm. The dog has eaten her arm, and is drooling in anticipation of more fresh meat.
In the next panel, they find a bunch of breast implants in a bag. The African-American police officer is all like "Hey, you could use some". And the female police officer is trying to find another big one to make a pair. The dog is going nuts and trying to eat the female police officer's chest. The flat-chested woman shouts at them, cursing, saying Hey, those are my implants! In the next panel, she explains that these breast implants are made of only the finest crushed mice. The African-American guy says "what?"
And then they listen as she explains how they crush 4 mice each to make each one of them. But she doesn't just say it, she forces it into their brains with a psychic vision, which makes them very hot. And then she says "Screw you guys, you can't have my expensive chest enlargers made of mice!"
And she eats all the breast implants while the police officers and the dog turn into zombies.

Fantastic, just fantastic. Should anyone on the Orgah care, I have also been working on something about Korea. Once it's done, I'll post it up here.

That was off-the-wall, totally random and very funny. I couldn't help but think of Woody Allen's What's Up, Tiger Lily? :laugh4:
