EB takes two tries to start....

Hi,

Whenever I try to start EB and click the EB Single/Multiplayer icon, it doesn't start. When I look this strange occurrence up in Task Manager, it's "running" at a itty-bitty rate of around 1500 KB.

When I nuke EB in Task Manager and start it up again, however, it works.

Any reason why EB takes two tries to run it?

Would you first check if RTW is running without those problems?
You are aware that EB needs long time to load, how long did you wait?
