HuffPo has its slant, yes it does, but I've never caught them fabricating or falsifying news stories. (Their bloggers are another matter.) Here's an alternate source: NBC Sports.

I wasn't answering whether or not they were "good" in any sense, rather, I was responding to your objection against them as a source. The report was factual, and I pointed out that HuffPo is reliable when it comes to factual reporting. From what I've seen, most of it comes from a license deal with AP and UPI.

You asked whether or not they were reliable on a news story. My response was that they are reliable for news stories, not so much for editorials and blogs. Seemed like a pretty straightforward exchange to me.

For that matter, the rather thin portion of Fox News that calls itself "news" is pretty reliable as well, although even their straight newscasters have an annoying tendency to editorialize and pass on things said elsewhere on FNC as "people say" and "some say" and "opinions are," which undercuts them completely.

There is nothing wrong with a 0-0 tie in basketball. The rest of the world, if not the US, would eat it up. Just re-label it as "indoor football (soccer)". :laugh4:

It's like the real uncos (uncoordinated) from school deciding that they want to take their game elsewhere because they are so useless at it. So they need to play with people of their skill level, or they get beaten out of sight. How sad.

Isn't that kinda why we have several divisions in a league...?

I play football in the same football series as people who make millions playing, but they play in the Elites(division 0), while I play all the way back in the 6th division....

Yeah, but aren't there already different levels of league or whatever? Why go and set up a completely separate system and only let in non black people (or is it whites only?)? The only reason I can see for that is stupidity and prejudice. If they are crap they can join division z or whatever, and play with fellow uncos who may or may not be black/non white but are presumably of similar ability.

So Arnold and Willis could still play, yes? Well, actually, no because the rules say BOTH parents have to be Caucasian, and Mr. Whitey was a single father until he married that lady with the ugly kid.
