Pick your power mini-mafia [Concluded]

Sort of a test run for this setup, we'll see if it works in a mini game. Works great in a large game.

5 townies
2 mafia

When you post to join the game, send me two numbers like this: (X,Y) with each being one of the numbers 1-5.

The X number closest to 1 that no one else picks gets to go first in the role draft. The Y number is for tiebreakers.

Example draft:

Player 1: 4,5
Player 2: 1,4
Player 3: 3,5
Player 4: 1,3
Player 5: 1,4
Player 6: 5,4
Player 7: 5,5

The draft order would be:
Player 3
Player 1
Player 6
Player 7
Player 4
Players 2/5 based on random (because their Y numbers are the same).

The reason that order is the way it is (and this is how this one works as well) is that the numbers that are picked singulary (X) go first, then the ones that are doubled (X), THEN the ones that are tripled (X).

Once the order is done, you will then attempt to pick a power role. If someone above you in the draft order has picked that role you will be vanilla. The mafia will be allowed to coordinate. The mafia can both kill and use their drafted power.

Send in your role picks. Remember, if someone higher than you in the draft order took the role you pick, you end up vanilla.

No. There's a system like I explained, although it's confusing.

Csargo goes first because he was the only one to pick that x number.

Next we go to people who's X numbers were picked twice. Then the X numbers that got picked three times (no one).

1 < 2 < 5

That determined the order for 2-7.

No, I meant because 2-7 people all have one other person with the same X, and four of us had a corresponding Y.

What happens if both numbers are the same (1,2) (1,2)?

The Y is only used if people have the same X number. It's a tiebreaker.

4) same x as 5
5) same x as 4
6) same x as 7
7) same x as 6

1) unique y
2) unique y

See? 2-3 had the same results, and 4-7 were on the same level.

Diamond eye is ahead of Centurion because 4 <5. For the same reason, the double 1's go before the double 2's who go before the double 5's.
