Welcome to the EB forums. You can't do a multiplayer campaign in EB if you can't do one in vanilla (original) RTW. There was one utility that was created that supposedly worked, but applying this utility to EB would be tricky, at least I think so. EB utilizes scripts that need to be activated for normal gameplay, and this isn't taken into account in that utility. Hope other replies answer your question more completely.
Is there not a cheat, with which you can change your faction during the game?
Theoretically you could play your moves with your faction, save the game, send it to the second player and let him do his moves with another faction, then end the turn.
IDK if it works, maybe it would be worth a test.
Actually, we do have something of a multiplayer campaign, Its a play-by-mail camapaign, where players play a single general in a faction. In this case Averni. Players vie for control over their tribe and the Averni confederation. check it out, its in teh throne room, heres a link https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forum...y.php?262-WoLT
Something to note:
According to Wikipedia, the new Total War series game from Sega entitled Napoleon: Total War (abbreviated NTW) has the feature called "Multiplayer Campaign Mode", in addition to the already-ubiquitous multiplayer online battle feature.
Thanks guys for the replies. I did find somebody already wrote a code which allows you to play multiplayer campaigns in Vanilla RTW. It works simply by transferring the saved game info between the different players. May be that particular code can be developed for EB :idea2:
Meh, we need to donate money so the EB team can create their own game engine. Then EB will be a stand alone game where they can market and sell it as a full product! :D
