Greetings players and hosts of the gameroom.

Some of you might know what the purpose of this new sub forum is. But for you who don't:
This is a sub forum for those who would like to have a place where you can prepare your upcoming games.

This is the place where potential players can browse your games before the games are moved to the main forum to be played.
This is the place where you can ask for help balancing your game or other issues you might have preparing you awesome game.

In fact - it is strongly recommended that you create you gamethread in here before it is launched in the main gameroom. When your game is ready and the time has come for it to be played, a moderator will move it to the gameroom.

so can we have signups in advance here. my first game is coming up and im worried about it i have everything written up and planned but its not going to exactly draw crowds, to say the least.

I guess you could have signups in advance...
I was thinking that maybe you could put a poll into your unfinished game to gauge the interest. Say... with two options:

1. I am interested in playing your game when it is launched.
2. I am too busy with RL right now, maybe next time.

We need to test this baby out.

Yes, that sounds an awful lot like how I was able to get so many parties interested in Seamus' Capo III game before it was in sign-ups. I really appreciate this.

it is really a very good idea.

My game is good to go so I will take small game slot 4 in March.

oh so we post where we want our slot here. ill take the next slot in march (conveniently before your slot i believe john)

yeah your right. well this new system is being tested by my ineptness thats for sure :laugh: im signing up everywhere i go.

I cannot seem to find a list of who has already picked their montly slot, and who is next to do so. Nor is it clear to me where this information should be posted. I recommend that such information be made clearly visible somehow. Perhaps an Instructions thread would be useful back here to explain the proper mechanics of the new system.

In any case, on the off chance that it is my turn to pick, I will volunteer to host my large game in June. If that slot is not available, I will volunteer for July.

I was probably not clear enough in my PM to those on the game host list.
Post your calendar date in the Request to Host Games thread in the main gameroom. You should be able to see in that thread which dates have been picked. I'll also try to update the calendar every 24 hours.
As soon as I am happy with the calendar and its layout, I'll move it to the gameroom for proper implementation.

Is this the place where we can post our non-mafia game ideas as well before we want to start them in the Gameroom?
