Missing models_buildings files

Fresh install of Rome with Alexander, EB 1.1, EB 1.2 + hotfixes, EB w/ALX - crash on first battle; "file name doesn't exist data/models_building/offmap_port_east.cas." Poking around in the files, I see that I am missing almost all of the offmap_x.cas files listed in descr_offmap_models except oasis_lake.cas, palm_tree_v1.cas, palm_tree_v2.cas and palm_tree_v3.cas. Searches of my harddrive do not reveal any files called 'offmap_x.cas,' nor are they produced with a reinstall of EB.

Are these vanilla RTW files that I'm missing?

Are you using Vista/Win7? Be sure to install it outside the Program Files.
Also sometimes the installers are corrupted, were there errors at the installation progress? Have you tried it another time?

If there is no EB before your data/models_building this are vanilla files....

Using vista, but I have a seperate c:\games folder to avoid using program files for just this reason. No errors during any installation process.

Can't work out whether these are missing vanilla files or EB files. Doing a complete reinstall anyway.

EDIT: Looks like something went wrong with the original vanilla install, as the files I'm missing are now all there!

That can happen...a negative side effect of the UAC.
It works now?
