I laughed when I saw this guy turning up for marriage. Does this mean I can start my own 'LOL' dynasty?. And why has this name been implented into the game?

LOL LOL LOL
oh perhaps his name was actually...iol and that was common carthaginian names that time...
Hahaha. Intermarriage between Punic and Hellen maybe make up that name...
Hehe. But wouldn't that read Iol rather than Lol?
 I've seen this too in my campaigns, really odd..
His name is Iol, for he is supposed to hail from a punic settlement called that way along the African coast, near Siga.
Silly name aside, this guy is an excellent FM, by the look of his characteristics. I hope you didn't reject him...
No, I accepted him. A silly name is no reason to reject such a fine joung lad. He is currently heading the offensive in Spain.
He started laughing when prompted for his last name when he realised he was going to be marrying "muttonball" (or something like :p)
I had a 'Captain Hygienos' in a Macedonia campaign some time ago. Mr Propre?
So... your general is named... Mutton-ball Lol... what to say...Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Perhaps he's a wolf in sheeps clothing...beware all who should cross him...grrrr!
well, he could have ended up with Dr.Insano as a name...
or SPOONTOK!!
or ultimate spoony.
or Muttenba'al "desctrucity" Iol
or muttenba'al "simply delicious" Seifer
of course, there was also a town in North Africa called "Iol Caesaria". thankfully, it was never included in the mod. we don't want the older players dying of a heart attack, induced by violent laughter.
Or the history fanatics flaming EB since there was no Iol Caesarea in 272 B.C.
