Should I go to a new nightclub with my cousin, her man, and 10-15 people I never met before in a VIP room?
Or should I go to a smaller, yet just as famous, pub with 2 friends and 2 people I never met before for the purpose of gettin hammered?
The idiots coincidentally scheduled this on the same damned night.
I would say pub, because VIP rooms are where people are fine with paying $250 for a bottle of smirnoff that retails for $13 just because the cocktail waitress has implants.
Make an appearance at both?

I'm with Sasaki. VIP room aint likely to be anything special. Better off spending the night with your buds and the other two folks.
VIP = Ripoff unless you're in somewhere like LA. Even then it's a ripoff but at least you'll be surrounded by the Beautiful People.
Pub = Best.

If you're going to the VIP, I suggest you empty your savings account first.
Pub. It's more intimate and the environment provides a better ambiance. The alcohol is less expensive and you could probably get a good burger with your beer as well.
Whose paying ?
VIP if someone else.... also how often are your going to go VIP and how often would you get to goto that pub. I would say go for whichever one is likely to be the rarer treat, variety is a spice an all that...
