I myself had largely simple (but tasty) fare today. For lunch, I made myself a couple sandwiches: Pastrami and Marble Jack cheese with Miracle Whip on homemade wheat bread. For supper I had pot roast (complete with carrots & potatoes) prepared in the crock-pot by my roommate. Delicious! :2thumbsup:
I had spaghetti with venison meatballs for dinner. Was top notch.
Lamb steak and roast veggies, simple and delicious.
I had my blood test this morning and had to fast for the previous 12 hours. Being a diabetic makes this an unpleasant experience as my blood sugar plunges quite low. My reward: a large vanilla cappuccino & egg/sausage breakfast wrap from Tim Hortons.
A slice of buttered toast washed down with a cup of tea ahhhh

I cooked a pasta dish that has: chicken, beef and an assortment of vegetables mixed together. Added caesar dressing and feta cheese to it and mix. It's num yummy. I added a hot pepper to the veggies and meat as I cooked it before adding the pasta, cheese and dressing. Provided a nice spice.
Home made hash browns (plus bacon and baked beans). :grin:
I love my slices of bread.
Probably sushi for today, it was more refreshing than the pizza i just had...
Made myself a tuna melt today. Tuna with mayo and a bit of spicy brown mustard on a toasted bagel with two slices of American cheese (we were out of cheddar). Still delicious.
Homemade gumbo soup. Not sure how authentic it was compared to what you'd get down in the bayou, but I sure liked it. :yes:

Pretty much, there's a local place here that sells fried cornbread in balls they call Hush Puppies. Quite good with the right sauce to compliment them. :yes:Quote:
