Hi peeps.
I´m working on my MoD for quite some time now. I have already made loads of changes, but now I hit a brick wall it seems.
I made the Golden Horde Playable ... added pics for buildings as described in these forums. I gave them the ability to build Marshals Palace etc. and made some new Titels for those.
But MTW wouldn´t disply the propper pic in the building construction window. There is some kind of Pici but it isn´t the usual ... how do I get the usualy pics for those buildings ? I have a created a Pagan Folder an the office buildings re in it. HELP, pls. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cg...cons/smile.gif

Hmm? That's in "campmap\review pannel\buildings", you'd add a pagan folder with the Marshalls Palace bif from the Catholic folder, you copied the one from just the buildings folder, you need "...building\Catholic\Marshall's Palace.bif", same with many of those buildings. Check them with the bif reader.

Btw. Golden Horde is pretty kewl to play now ... but their lack of a church and a priest thingy is kind of a setback to them compared to other factions ...
There once was talk about an "Stone-Círcle" and "Standing Stones" as Church/Cathedral along with Bard/Druid unit that were alike Priest/Bishop. Are these Buildings and Units ready and have they been tested ? Would love them for the MoD http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cg...cons/smile.gif .
The Golden Horde titles I invented are :
Guardian of the Treasury (Royal Palace)
Warden of the Khans Horses (Constables Palace)
Grand Leader of Allied Forces (Marshals Palace)
Gatherer of the Tributes (Chancellery)
Grand Leader of the Armada (Admirality)

i believe barocca was the one who first started doing additions and alterations of the building pics and stuff. you might ask him for info/help.

Dude Weak So what you need is a Pagan Civil Rights addon, eh. The Jewish Civil Rights is just version 3. That's got the stonecircle, stonehenge, druids and all. You know what, I'll even link it for ya. There you go. Do tell me if there's any problems, by the way.

Well, one simple way to solve that problem (if you don't want to go to the trouble of making morale boosting buildings available for the Horde) is simply to add morale to their units in the crusader_unit_prod file. That would accomplish the same thing and be more historical (the Horde attacking Europe in the early 13th century weren't exactly great builders - they were more into slashing and burning - which makes a nice change from the regular campaign factions) http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cg...cons/joker.gif
Making them play too much like the other factions sort of defeats some of the fun of including them in the 1st place.

It was not so much about the Morale ... but due to the fact it takes the GH ages to "convert" new Provinces to their Pagan belives .... which actualy lowers local Loyalty so that GH has to leave large garisons behind in order to avoid Loyalist or religious rebellions. Sure that won´t be much a problem but more of a challenge to the Player ... but the AI suffers from that and its own stupidity, making the GH a weak opponent.
I´ll give it some more tests.
