Here's a topic where we can talk about the current footbal world cup in South Africa, discuss about our favourite teams and every action, just like the Argentinian offside of yesterday against Mexico.
Now, about EB teams, the Romani, Aedui and Arverni did a very bad tournament, while Koinon Hellenon failed to qualify.
However the Sweboz destroyed the Casse with a huge 4-1 and now are one of the most serious teams for the final win.
Now the Lusotannan are playing against the Iberi, who will win?

The Arevaci won today... Unfortunatly my Taurisci failed to qualify as well, thanks to some people beyond the Oceanus
I'm supporting Sweboz.
The good thing about this World Cup is that so far I got all the winners XD

My son got the Panini World Cup 2010 sticker album, and the Swiss are down as the Helveti in that. Made me smile (gave me an excuse to bore him with why they are the Helveti as well.. ha ha..)
The Casse just routed.... they had nothing to combat the Sweboz, or anybody frankly...

You know, I've used the language and iconography of football matches to describe ancient battle tactics. The language of it fits perfectly, teams look to "flank" opponents (use fast, mobile units to attack weaknesses on the flanks). Talismanic figures (champions) are often utilised to rally the 'troops', and the individual units' are reliant on confidence in their colleagues, and the tactics of their commander.
