So, Comrades, what next?

In my opinion we should refrain from lynching anyone until we rejoin the group. We should direct all our efforts to rejoining the main group.

If there have been infiltrators caught with us on this side, then they may have the advantage, and may be able to more easily destroy us by the vote. We also don't have that many people remaining to do night actions, so we need every man to do their duty at night without exception.

I agree with Comrade pizzaguy. If we are allowed to refrain from lynching today, we should do so. I'm no investigator, I'm a blocker. Hopefully, we can reunite with our comrades with no losses and two new strong cliques. I'm not sure about the plan of having everyone protect me. I must consider that further. I will send out protection instructions tonight. Deviation from them will be frowned upon.

Can anyone, quickly and concisely explain to me what's gone on, beyond the fact that we are now separated?

Since I was incredibly busy today, I don;t have time to write a second write-up (Especially considering nothing happened...), and I'll post what I said in that thread over here:

I have been incredibly busy today, and after deadline announcement, I had once again to leave my computer, hence the shamefully late & short update.. Tomorrow, I will once again be stretched for time, with only a 2 and a half hour slot available for me between playing Tuba in my band. I would think that with only 9 people here on this side of the river that any killer would have to be stupid to kill now. The killer runs a much higher risk of being caught with fewer people.

Who are these "best lynch candidates?" Before we split from the rest of the group I believe comrade Renata had suspicions of Askthepizzaguy.

So what do we do now? Yes concentrate on the assault, but with what?

It's entirely possible we have some investigator among us. If we do defenses, no lynches, roleblock, and investigate, then we will systematically find the traitors among us or force them to expose themselves.

IMO this being on this side of the bridge is temporary. We just need to survive until then, as proactively as we can.

Of course, we do have two lynches now. We might consider voting on whether we should use the lynch or not.

I'm a little uneasy about lynching. Just because we have so little numbers and no conclusive evidence.

On the other hand it is merely an illusion that we have fewer numbers. It's the same numbers, just placed in separate "boxes". We haven't lost anyone, they are all alive and well on the other bank. Assuming auto has been investigated that means we have a 1/8 chance of lynching mafia if there is one here, and a 1/4 chance if there are two here. Those are pretty decent odds.

Sorry, just thinking out loud. Well it is already night so we can't do anything until morning anyway. Tonight's events might give us an idea which path is best.

It was a dark miserable morning, and autolycus had been enduring a long, distressing sleep. He woke to the rain filtering in through the tears in his tent’s fabric, and he wasted no time in getting up and prepare to assemble the rest of PEXDET on the North Bank. He shouted out to the other tents that it was time to wake up, and eventually, they one by one, crawled out of their tents and staggered towards the meeting point. The survivors told the others of the shocking events of last night

“I had an awful sleep last night, how about you?”

“Oh yeah, it was abysmal. Rain, thunder, and lightning, I couldn't tell if we were under attack or not!”

“Me too. But I had a dream last night!”

“Really? Wow, what about?”

“I don’t remember much, but it was really calm and serene. I was lying back on a beach in Hainan, sipping a rice wine cocktail and just enjoying the better things in life...”

It so happened that not one single member of PEXDET had been killed that night; on the North Bank anyway. autolycus was absolutely stunned

“So, we all survived? Wow, that’s fantastic!”

The Comrades grinned at their apparent leader

What good news for us. Either all the Imperialists are dead, or they’re all trapped on the South Bank. All thanks to my leadership, I might add” said the Chairman, with a puffed out chest.

The Communists looked at each other quizzically, but they shrugged it off, and continued their trudge along the road in the heavy rain, with maybe a spot of Revolutionary zeal.

I made some mistakes with respect to protection scheme last night, but I will rectify them tonight, so that when we reunite with the others, we will at least be close to having strong cliques to aid them in rooting out our enemies.

What happened? The order I got, and my designated group's actions didn't match up.

A friend of mine was getting married this weekend, so I was rushed and accidentally included one of the six other actives in both protection groups and one in neither.

Due to unforeseeable occurrences in the South Bank thread, I have been required to extend this day phase by 24 hours. And No Lynch/Abstain are not allowed this phase.

Okay well unless you guys are cool with M3YUZ dying because he's inactive, I'd prod you to entertain some more productive suggestions.

I'd consider a M3YUZ lynch the equivalent of a No Lynch at this point because we aren't losing anyone, really.

I am unsure as to whether or not he is mafia per se, but he is an inactive (lol I'm a hypocrite).

We seem to be short on food, so one must be sacrificed for the greater good (OOC: Why else would we start lynching when no one died). I think this is the best way that vote:M3YUZ can serve PEXDET.
