Can the BI formations be intro'd into RTW

Hi, I was wondering if the BI formations can be introduced into RTW? I'm particularly looking for the Shiltrum formation and don't need the the Phalanx thing so a swap would be fine in this case. If this can be done which files do i shift about? I would use BI, but i want the Rome faction text for some factions and want to make use of a Marian reform type thing. In relation to this, can you point me to any mods that reintroduce the senate properly, you know without having to avoid hitting this or that button without a CTD. Also can new formations be made for the game, I have something about putting dots on a black area but it's a bit of a mystery. Any info on this, or the general area of formations? Having a min of 2 rather than 3 ranks would be quite nice?
The whole thing can be worked around if it comes out as a No on all counts but it would be nice to have above in my mod.

Hi, thanks for the reply It's a bit as i say above, I could use BI but I want some eliments from RTW to be part of the mod. I figured it would be quicker to do a file swap from BI to RTW, just don't know which files to swap. Also i was wanting to have a wee stab at maybe introducing some other formations into the game if i could get the files involved. baisicaly a start point would be which are the files that are concerned with this? And maybe working from there. Also I know there were mods that re-introduced the senate fully into the Vanila game and I'm damned if i can find them, any pointers there would be most apreciated.

He means just run RTW with the BI exe using the mod switch command.

Hi, thanks for the reply, apreciated. If that means that i can include both sets of formations that might be what I'm looking for. Have you any tutorials on this that i can have a look at, to see what's what. I have to admit, I havn't modded BI before, my various things have been for RTW 1.5 which i'm comfortable with, but if that would do the trick Re using the RTW texting for the senate and marian reforms with BI formations them it might be worth a spin. Come to think of it the emergent factions might be quite useful as well if that can be grafted on that way. (Though that can be put onto RTW with some note pad work, I think).
Also, I seen a mod for properly reintroducing the senate as a player option with all the usual facilities, but can't track it down. Does anyone know where i might be able to download that?
