Interface changed

I stopped playing for about a month, and when I re-started today (with a saved campaign game) I saw that in battles the interface is changed:
1. The mini-map was moved from bottom-left to top-right (I can get used with that)
2. The units cards are on the bottom just by themselves, not inside a window (that is quite OK, leaves some more space for the battle view)
3. There are no more the buttons for speeding up the game (that can increase the boredom in some cases)
4. The buttons for units orders are no longer visible by default. You have to move your cursor on the top of the screen and the unit orders menu will appear - this is quite annoying. I liked the fact that when I selected a unit I could see immediately its orders (fire at will, skirmisher mode etc).

Does anyone know how and why this change happened and how I can change it back?

Either you change it directly in the EB Settings/Preference Dialog found in the RTW folder if you are using the Trivial Script or you change it manually in EB\preferences\preferences.txt by changing MINIMAL_UI to FALSE
