U.S. Navy Fighters 97. One of my favourite games all time, I still have the original CD and the super-incredible manual that is really a tome of knowledge about military aicraft and dogfighting.
Anyone here played it?
Not at all, but wow that game's showing it's age. I'm sure it was fun in its prime.
I have a number of manuals like that around here somewhere. One for Falcon 4.0 that I truthfully never read, and a massive one that came with Microsoft Flight Simulator 95. :dizzy: I don't believe I even know where the disk for that game is.Quote:

The biggest ones I own are this (has around 400 pages), one on Apache Havoc (another super flying game - 300 pages) and the manuals from TW games.
I enjoy the AoE 2 one and the Warcraft 2 ones
I was just thinking of the aoe2 one. It was an enjoyable manual
I think the Empire Earth one was awesome. It was huge at least 150 pages, I used to flip through it when I was bored and highlight the important things, as well as make notes in the back.
Pity they dont make make manuals like they used to anymore.
Every game is still the same old watered down reskin of a game before...
